Guys,

I had to put Ubunutu on my little brother's PC for I could not find the drivers for it to work under XP (coming from 2000). Anyways, he has a baseball game that a local programmer created with the local players, stadiums, etc. I have done some googling and found Wine, but it doesn't run correctly.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a trial of Cross Over games? http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxgames/

Alternatively, give us the specs of the components in that PC and we'll find them for you.

I don't know where to see the names of the components from within Ubuntu, put it is a Compaq Evo D51C.

He would be extremely happy with Windows (sadly).

If nothing, I'm installing a virtualization program. Might be a bit slow, but oh well, he asked for it.

If this game requires any sort of 3d graphics capabilities, a virtualization program won't help.

Edit: All of the drivers should be here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=1098

I tried those drivers before getting Ubuntu on. None worked. I'm giving Crossover Games a try.

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it!

Crossover Games did not work, so I'm stuck with VirtualBox.

Edit: VirtualBox did not work, so I'm stuck with a very pissed little brother.
