My 17" Powerbook... soon? or very soon!

Okay I signed my contract today with the company I'm working with.
project = a 16 month company calendar featuring my art - 100,000 to be printed
So today I read the agreement and got my check and part of the agreement is my 17" PB 
---
thanks to all the crazy talk on this forum I was forced to beg them to wait maybe until September 20th

Thanks for signing the agreement so quickly. I've noted your apartment number, and we'll be sure to use it when sending you the computer.
Unless the computer has been ordered already, we'll be happy to hold off until September 20th. I know how important it is to get the very latest version. By the way, my daughter bought a 17-inch Powerbook last winter, and she just loves it! She's using it for a lot of graphic design work.
I'll get back to you as soon as I find out whether we can hold off on the computer. Meanwhile, all the best -

man I'm so excited I don't even think I want to wait it was so nice to see the 17" listed in a 6 page agreement
If they do hold off I will get it around my Birthday Oct 2nd

Good news, Naz. We haven't ordered the Powerbook yet, and I've instructed our buyer to wait until September 20 - and to verify that he's ordering the newest model.
If it's out earlier, let me know and we'll move up the purchase.
I hope next week the 18th is true
Man to think I could have asked for any computer I wanted. I gave up a dual G5 for this. Apple better not let me down.
