on OSX, i got it from a friend of mine, but he didn't tell me the login password, and some idiot logged out when i told him not to, so, how can i get back on-i have no other OSs, and i need help.

What you need to do is grab a copy of the Mac OS X Installer CD, then what ya need to do is reset the password which is available from the Installer menu.

You should be able to then press option enter on login and then type in the new login and password you applied to that user.

Post at OS X General or OX X Unix. They will tell you how to do it.
