I have a Digital Audio G4 733 and it is quite loud compared to me ole' Sawtooth 450. I'm assuming the fans are the culprit since my drives(IBM 60GXP and WD Caviar SE) are generally very quiet. I saw a mod on xlr8yourmac.com that I'm going to do(just the foam part):

I'd also like to just go ahead and replace the fans at the same time when I do the above mod. Has anyone done this with the same or similar machine? What are the best fans? Is it a fairly easy exercise to do this? Just basically remove/unhook the old fans and install/hook up the new ones? Thanks for any advice.

Scott
