I am now a proud owner of a MBP 1.83! My old Ti 1Ghz went into the family upgrade cycle, the Ti 400 came out the other end!
The machine is in great condition cosmetically and functionally, with no issues in either area. HINGE IS FINE and the back port cover is fine!! Original airport card (which as you know on its own is in demand and costs at least $120 from
resellers) works great. Needs a RAM upgrade (384 just doesn't make OS X happy), but it still was my uncle's primary computer for iLife and it was fine. It also has a several month old 'new' keyboard.
You will be getting the original retail box for the TiBook and all (I think) of the original paperwork, disks (OS 9 baby!) and accessory cables.
I also have available a RETAIL box of 10.3 and the retail iLife '05 disk to include with the machine if you'd like. If you don't want these, I'll ship it with 10.3 installed if you want, but you'll have no system disks.
With 10.3 and iLife '05, I'm asking $575.
Without the retail software disks, I'm asking $500
