Did anyone notice the ITMS contest results? They were selling approximately 100,000 songs per hour. That's simply amazing to me.

Wasn't Apple proud of selling 100,000 songs in the first week of the store or something? They've come a long way since then. 
And those prizes were an awesome way to hugely accelerate sells. They should keep doing that!

I agree. The sales seem to be accelerating. They've sold 250 million songs in the past 6 months.

I wonder what kind of increase they'd see if they'd open it up to a lot more countries? I think Japan is finally going to get it next week. Think what kind of sales they'd get if Korea, China, and India got in on it? Thats like half the damn world.
Oh, and lets not forget Australia and New Zealand as well. Theres a lot of money out there to be made on this, Apple just needs to open the market up.

Yup, I hope they open more stores in other parts of the world. I would love to purchase songs from iTMS, but they don't have one available in Singapore yet.
