anyone know anything about this?

in Address Book, i have two friends listed as a first name only.
the app has copied that name (ie "Jean") and placed in in the last name window as well.

i edited them back to a firstname only several times (and even deleted them from the "Previous Recipients" list in Mail.

but Address Book keeps re-doing one of them as a same first and last name (like it doesn't appreciate someone not having a last name... )

hope i described that well. any idea how to fix this?? thanx in advance...

well, to answer my own post...
i deleted prefs for address book, re-did the name card, and will wait and see if the problem re-occurs...
(so far, so good...but it's only been an hour...)
