We were just talking about snowshoeing, on another forum I'm on, and I was remarking how we hardly ever get enough snow in lower Michigan anymore to use snowshoes. According to the news; we could get 6 - 10 inches in the next couple of days! Bring it on.

Winter does suck right now. I'd be kicking myself if I bought insurance and a trail permit for the snowmobile this season.

Currently 72 in Nashville, Tennessee. Its been in the high 60s for the last week but the weather dude says its gonna be back in the low 40s next week. I was kinda hoping we'd just skip winter this year but I expect snow any day now.

The same probably goes for folks who bought a lot of shares of natural gas and kerosene...

Represent Michigan! This winter has been terrible. Nie one drop of snow on the ground currently, but we did get a couple inches for Christmas day up here in Grand Rapids. I haven't been too angry though, since knee surgery has kept me back from snowboarding this season.

It does look like Michigan is going to get pounded with some snow late tonite and tomorrow though, just in time for my 4 hour drive back to school.

We've had a couple small snow storms here, but warmer than normal temps have melted most of that away. Winter temps are arriving here for us tonight and through the week:

Tonight: ChanceSnow
Lo 2F

Sunday: ChanceSnow
Hi 9F
Lo -7F

Monday: Mostly Sunny
Hi 8F
Lo -9F

Tuesday: Partly Cloudy
Hi 5F
Lo -7F

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy
Hi 11F

Cold stuff, but by no means am I kidding myself that it's as cold as we'll get this winter.

The next city in Michigan to get one should be Grand Rapids (logically thinking).

The only decent Mac retailer around here tries to rip me off anytime I go in, so an Apple Store would be a welcome change!

I am just keeping my fingers crossed there will be an abundance of coeds flying out back to school in the airport bar.

I live near St. Louis, before I came every other Winter had a blizzard (or so the old people say) so they're pretty used to getting 8+ inches. Too bad the largest snowfall I've seen in my lifetime is 6 inches. I hate global warming. IT'S JANUARY! IT SHOULD NOT HAVE RAINED MORE IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS THAN IT DID ALL SUMMER

The Toronto area is experiencing another mild winter. Yesterday I noticed that my crocuses (croci?) are all pushing through the mulch! They're in for a frosty reception if January ever returns to normal in southern Ontario.

Today we are having rain and T's in the upper 40's today. Later this week they are predicting T's in the 20's with low's near 0.

2004 Polaris 600 XC SP sitting in the garage, 0 miles this season.
The snowmobile tour company I work for shut down today. We should be open later this week if we get some snow. Where is winter? It started strong...
