In the MacNN forums this week, Fresh-Faced Recruit "Chucktr" was wondering why Calendar Alerts stopped working for no reason and has yet to get a response. Yesterday Senior User "kevs" was trying to figure out why he was having problems with his MacBook when an external monitor and mouse were attached and found some helpful advice that could be useful to others with this problem.

Members discuss reasons why a "disk not ejected properly" error message may occur, but have yet to find a real solution as to why. After installing Capitan, one Senior User has been having problems with his laptop and desktop synching and hoped to find help from fellow users, so far no one has come to his rescue. Mac Elite "And.reg" asked, "does anyone use Stickies on OS X?" but found a very unenthusiastic response.
