When I first installed Oblivion the game defaulted at 1024x768 high settings. Since full screen stretched the display I upped the resolution a bit, however there is some slowdown in scenes like riding horses at full speed or with multiple enemies. I feel Oblivion was well worth the money even with some slowed frames in certain situations due to the great image quality. If you want perfect framerates then Oblivion on the Macbook Pro is not for you, however it is VERY playable with the right settings at over 1024x768 resolution.
