Got my new Dual G5 on Wednesday.

It is beautiful, but I have one problem with graphics card, (Standard Radeon 9600 Pro), I bought a Belkin ADC to DVI connector, and then a DVI D monitor cable to attach to an NEC 1810X LCD panel.

This does not seem to work.

In actual fact using the ADC to DVI connector causes the machine not to boot at all (i.e. the USB power not load and I think it is going into firewire disk mode).....

I can only get it to work using the included DVI to VGA connector and using the VGA input on the screen.

Has any one else had this problem?

I suggest using Apple hardware you will almost certainly receive a signal.

Using sub-standard hardware does yourself little favours !

Fixed this problem, out of the box the resolution the ADC port was giving out (800 x 600 at 54Hz) was too low for the LCD to pick up.

I managed to swap to the other DVI port and and then raise the the resolution to 1280 x 1024 and all is now working correctly.
