Anyone using the new BOINC 5.8.11 yet? I notticed a few problems with it on some PCs in the SETI forums.

Yep. I lost some wu's after installing it, on both the Mac and the PC. Also, it would connect to server but kept coming back with 'no work from server' when they they had bundles of work. They (sah) have been having some drawn out server connection problems, and I thought it might be that. I re-booted both machines and that seems to have cleared it, and its running ok. So I'm not sure what's up.

I have it installed on all 3 of my machines right now, but I have not connected to SETI yet.

Most likely will not connect until tomorrow evening as my computers were off all day due to a 2 hour power outage while I was at work.

Boinc is up to 5.8.12

The fault I had with 5.8.11, I also get on 5.8.12. I think I have tracked it down to preference settings. Below is from my win PC, but I was getting it on my Mac (5.8.11) as well, and for the same reason.

I have mine set to no and do not get that error.
