Okay, one of you guys design genius needs to buy one of these remotes
And then needs to go check this out and make some nice themes..
I'm so spoiled here that it's very hard to try and find a nice theme for my remote.

I have a TSU2000. It has actually been an excercise in frustration making good themes for it because there aren't enough shades of grey, and you can't theme the whole screen.
I was going to upgrade to a TSU3000, but it has an aweful delay between when you press a button and when the command gets sent out the IR transmitter.
Right now I have what is basically a very good flow layout for operating my devices with a sort of Ableton Live 2.0 style look to it.

I have a TSU6000, it's a color remote and I've been having lots of fun with it... U can control anything from lamps to curtains to your DVD or you Stereo. Here is what mine looks like. I didn't make the theme (Mr Corkery did) but I added some buttons to it.

Once you've dug yourself deep enough to really need a remote like the Pronto the $300+ seems like a drop in the bucket

It is a terrible addition, and I recommend it to all of you
Since May of this year, all prices are MSRP:
- Pioneer Elite Pro 730HD - $7,000
- Denon DVD-3800 - $1,199
- NAD T762 AVR - $1399
- Rocket Signature RS750's - $1399/pr.
- Rocket RSC200 - $599
- Rocket RS550's - $899/pr.
- SVS 20-39 PC+ - $825
- Panamax MAX 5100 - $349
- Philips Pronto TSU2000 - $399
Total Retail Value of this Showcase is.... $14,068, congratulations you're a WINNER!
Though fortunately I didn't pay anywhere near that. My total cost was... $7935. Wow that's actually not too shabby, I hadn't really added things up like that before.

U guys are gonna be yelled at by the theme forum police...
I have the TSU6000 and I haven't spent that much on my gear.
I didn't realize people would think it was too expensive. When I saw one, it was too beautiful not to buy it... And my girl loves it. Now she can easily watch whatever show she wants to watch without having to understand what to turn on or off or what not.
But the themes man.. The themes... !!!
Someone made an OS X theme with the iSync icon feel and the iTunes buttons.. Kinda cool.
Maybe I should offer one for Xmas to Max and swiz and Daze and..... haha..

I had one of those. Looks great, had fun with it, but impossible to use without looking at it ALL THE TIME. I like real remotes where you can feel your way around it. With these Prontos, if you're off by a millimeter you could press "Record" instead of "Play".

I'm sorry to contradict but I use one and have programmed three for my friends and boss and have never heard this comment. As you can see my pics, some buttons are quite small and they've always worked fine...
Now the thickness of your fingers might be another problem... ;-)

No, they're not a problem since I have skinny fingers. I'm used to looking at the TV and using the remote without looking at it which is a complete impossibility with these touch-based remotes.
