Hi all.

I remember a while back, seeing a program on the web that made safari transparent (window structure, not the page) i think it might of been here.

i know about the debug menu thing, but this app made the actuall window transparent.

does anyone know of a link?

too bad there's not just a "transparency" setting or something as to not use more memory... But I would also like to try out that program

Are you thinking of the "Use Transparent Window" item in Safari's Debug menu? It's typically used for testing Dashboard widgets during development.

Seems this app: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16577 can make any window transparent (Cocoa ones anyway, but that includes Safari).

That might be what you are looking for, does exactly what you describe (makes the entire window structure transparent).

there's a shapeshifter gui kit called "ruler aero", gives semi-transparent windows for everything (menubar, windowbars, etc)...very 'windows vista' (yet still nice...)

look around for it, try macthemes.net (and of course you'll need shapeshifter...)
