Has anyone noticed the location of the new pulsing light (power indicator) on the new iBook? In the iBook video, it's clearly shown to the left of the release button in the front. But, that's not the cool part. It appears to glow right through the case! There isn't a visible location where the light would be. Check out the video! It's in the first 30 seconds.

Um and do we really care? Okay, I admit, I do. I wish the light on my monitor would pulse in sync with the one on the computer like the Cubes.
The 4 o'clock train will be a bus.
It will depart at 20 minutes to 5.

Yep it seems to be a smaller version of the same effect used on the G4 Cube and the Cinema,Studio Flat Panels and perhaps the 17"CRT
not sure on that one.

I noticed that, too. Yeah, it's crotch-grabbingly* good.

*- If you don't get the reference, don't think I'm weird or anything. You're weird for not watching "The Simpsons" enough.

Macworld has an article about the iBook and they mention the sleep light. What's cool about it is it can't be seen unless it's pulsing. It's part of the case. The Apple logo seems to glow blue, and they turned it rightside up!
