Is there any way to choose that to backup in Time Machine? I don't care about the system and library files. I just want to backup Movies, Pictures, Music, and Documents.
Can someone help?
Thanks!

System Preferences > Time Machine > Options
Add the folders you don't want backed up into there.

The Library folder in your home folder can contain important personal information though (mail, address book etc.)

I've set my TimeMachine on a drive that is smaller than my boot drive. I just wanted to backup my Users folder so I had to exclude all my other external drives plus:
• /Applications/
• /Developer/
• /Library/
• /System/
When I chose my /System/ folder it also prompted me and asked if I wanted to exclude all the other "unix" and hidden system files.

Same here. I think it would be a handy feature to be able to select either the folders to exclude or the folders to include. Selecting folders to exclude feels counterintuitive.

Time Machine backs up everything – that's intuitive. There is no need for folder inclusion.
