Well, I just ordered a G5 2.0GHZ refurb from apple online. And I just happen to come across some threads saying how much power these systems use. Am I going to see my electric bil spike 50 a month from buying this computer? Or is the difference negligible? Just want to make sure I made the right decision.

Even if it uses 200W more power than your current computer uses, that's only $5/mo (assuming $0.10/kWh and 8hr/day).
