Well, Pacifist 2.6 was getting really close to release, and then a user goes and writes me that it is having trouble opening the installer packages on the Logic 9 disc. Unfortunately, he mysteriously stopped responding once I sent him a debug build with some logs in it to try to track down the cause of the problem. Does anyone here have Logic 9, and if so would you mind testing a few things for me? If it turns out there is a bug and it wasn't just this guy's machine being weird, the first one that helps me actually solve it gets a free registration code.

If you're interested and have the Logic 9 installer disc, send me an email at support (squiggly symbol with an "a" in the middle) charlessoft (decimal point) com.

Thanks!

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

C'mon, anyone? All you'd have to do is run a build, try to open the Logic 9 discs with it, tell me if it works, and send me the Console logs if it doesn't, and repeat a few times if there turns out to be an actual bug.
