With the $100 credit from Apple I'm thinking about buying their headset today.

I do not use the iPhone headphones but rather my own pair. I was wondering if the Bluetooth headset is paired to the phone can you use it for phonecalls while headphones are plugged into the iPhone?

Thanks

I have a 3rd party bluetooth headset, and though I rarely use it, I believe you can. Essentially, the speaker button becomes a "sources" button, and it lets you select phone (earphones), speaker, or your headset.

Thanks for the info.
I have my iPhone in my bag and use the headphones for music. Often calls come in and I have to fish out my iPhone, unplug the headphones, and after the call, plug the headphones back in and put the phone away.

I figured if I could just take the headphones off my head, take my bluetooth earpiece out my pocket, have the phone call, hang up, and put the headphones back on, it would be awesome.
