http://hmdt-web.net/shiira/index-e.html

It's called Shiira. It uses the same rendering engine as Safari, but has felt quite a bit faster in every case. The only thing I don't like is that one cannot drag a url onto the bookmarks bar to create a new bookmark there, but the bookmarks can be shared with Safari anyway, so that made that problem moot. It is still version 0.95, but you should try it out!

EDIT: Also, Tab Expose lets you see all your tabs, just like expose for seeing your windows. Just make sure the hotkey doesn't conflict with konspose if you are using it.

Shiira is old news. Safari 1.3 and 2 are much faster.

Search didn't find me anything . Shiira is definitely faster for me than Safari 1.3.

EDIT: Seems I must have misspelled the search or something, sorry about that.

You're aware, I hope, that Shiira gets all of Safari's improvements when Safari is updated?

Camino beats the crap out of any browser when its speed or GUi responsiveness we are talking about!

Camino is fast, but Shiira has far more features. Personally, Shiira will be replacing Safari on my dock (thanks to the original poster). Its just like Safari except with more features (a better way of displaying the bookmarks, better progress bar, etc.)

I just wish it worked with Acid Search as it cannot use Teoma.com, my favorite search engine, in the search bar.

It's close to being my primary browser except for 3 things in OmniWeb: OmniTabs (tab expose is great, but it's still a keypress), Workspaces, and, most importantly, shortcuts. Shiira and Opera have partial support (Opera is closest), but nothing like OmniWeb.
I bring order to chaos. You are in chaos windows, you are the contradiction, a bug wishing to be an OS.

Camino is painfully unstable and has a distinctly out-moded interface.

Try out the nightlies. Stable as hell, and a very clean interface. Cant see why you think it is out-moded..

Ooh, good. Another "my browser is better than your browser" thread. Just what the forum needed.
