since this machine is so amazing, i figured it is time to get away from Apples boring backgrounds...im not looking for anything in particular, just sharp, crisp images..abstract, nature, anything...any ideas?

on a related topic, is there anyway to take a screenshot of my screen? like Print Screen in Windows?

cmd-shift-3 is a total screenshot. comes as a .pdf. i recommend exporting it to a jpg in preview.

cmd(apple)-shift-4 gives you the option to select a portion of the screen.

Apple (cmd)+Shift+4+Spacebar...will take a screen shot of the highlighted area you select (open window, desktop, menu bar, icons, etc. etc.)

Wallpapers: Google. Image search for your dimensions. An image search for 1024 768 returns more than a million results.
