The [/youtube] tag won’t work with a whole URL. It just wants the ID code.

I think apple made the right call making it the default that it switches off, they should 100% offer an option that makes it not do so.

I did it that way because otherwise, it would let spammers embed *any* url. Instead, we supply the Youtube URL and just take the video ID you supply. If a vB tag allowed me to add code, I'd validate a URL and let you put full ones in. But vB3 tags don't allow for an associated code block. Maybe vB4 will, if I ever get back to that.

Apparently they needed to tweak the de-icers.

All of Chicago is in a migration flyway (all of Illinois, for that matter). But, it's too late in the season for the birdstrike to have been a migrating species. It was probably a year-round resident species. What the building does have is a visibility problem. All that glass looks pretty much like open air to a bird.

IIUC, this was happening earlier in the year. For some reason, dimming the lights helped, which makes no sense to me, so it may be wrong.
