anyone know if this thing will ever get updated? SO many bugs make it pretty worthless compared to stuff like Coversutra...

I've been holding out for Synergy advance for the last 2 years I think... registered user of the standard version.

Yeah, I'm not sure what advance has over standard. Other then the half-star rating (which I can't find anywhere else).

It had access to the whole iTunes Library through it's menu bar icon, and some special iChat stuff. Oh, and a professional icon

Wincent seems to keep on tweaking the low level stuff without actually adding any more features...

Well I notice Advance hasn't been update in almost a year, so I suspect it may be dead. It'd be nice if he merged it with classic, or cut the price. $20 is insane for a companion program.
