I noticed the other day that when you are making a call, and you go to iPod and play some music, they hear it on the other end as background music. Pretty cool. You control the volume with the iPod volume, not the phone volume.

hmm well i had to turn my volume in ipod mode to full to hear anything and I think what the other person is hearing is just the music being played on your iphone's speaker.

unless i'm doing something wrong?

No. The iPhone volume and iPod volume are seperate. You control what the other person hears with the iPod volume.

Interesting. It does seem to play through to the person on the other end of the phone.

sounds like a flaw to me...cell phone quality isn't great sounding as it is...having music while talking would drive me nuts...lol interesting find though

Well, it only happens if you consciously go into the iPod app and start the music playing while on a call. If you were listening to a song and get a call, it would fade out and let you answer the call normally. So I can't say that it's really a flaw.
