With all this talk of the new G5s being sub supercomputer, I just reminded myself that here I sit with a 667/dvi and I would use it in preference to the 3Ghz PC at work. Hmmm something tells me the dual 2Ghz G5 is going to be earth shattering no matter what the benchmarks do or don't say...

i have a 500 mhz original tibook that still kicks butt. this is my 3rd year with it and i am still using it comfortably.

after the next revision, i will have to resist but next sutum dounds sweet. plugginf inthat 3ghz machine is gonna be swwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I ordered one.. Says the ship date is on/or before 9/2/2003.. Does that mean they'll send it in August or so or most likely in September?

Probably late August, early September.

I'd bet Apple's stating late shipment dates to cover themselves to prevent another 17" PB fiasco...I'd expect it to ship in August.

I think next year I'm gona have to try extreamly hard to not convince myself to buy one... after all I'll be lucky to have a Ghz Power Book, thus upgrading to four times the speed would be sweet.
