I purchased the Adobe Web Collection, and I have to say, when CS came out, it wasn't much more than I already had, so I didn't upgrade.

I've gotten to the point where I feel like I want the CS suite now, but it doesn't look like there is an upgrade path for me. The used to be an upgrade from Photoshop, but I guess that isn't the case anymore.

Does anyone know something I don't? Do I in fact have an upgrade path, but don't know it?

Your best bet is to call Adobe and see what they can do for you.

In the past I upgraded from an edu version to a commercial version. I didn't see any upgrade path on their website. I called them up and they told me that they could work somthing out.

Best of luck

Could always try and buy a copy from someone who has upgraded. I'd do it but I only added PS2 from the original CS.

I'm seeing it on their site as upgrade from Photoshop 7 or earlier is $749 for Premium and $499 for standard...

Maybe I'll go that route. technically I'm not a student, but I've been thinking about taking a class anyway (photography).
