What a strange week for distributed computing.
Predictor is still acting up with little or not work.
Einstein is down hard
SETI is delivering work but their splitters and assimilators are offline for a couple of days.
Anyone know if Climate Prediction is working?
Hopefully Predictor will have more work tomorrow.
Just a strange week.

FAH is up and running
When Boinc projects become more stable I will start moving my boxen there.

I only have one machine still on Climate Prediction, it seems to be running fine. Since the work units take at least a month getting new work is not a problem very often. But the fact that it leaves about 300MBs on a machine after every WU that you have to remove by hand just finally got to me.
I have been running Predictor with Einstein as a backup, so my machines are not doing much right now. If this doesn't change fairly soon I think everything will go to F@H.

I'm running Predictor with Einstein as my first backup and SETI as second. The new GUI client has a function whereby you can select a project for "No more work". It will complete any work in queue, but won't download any new work for that project. That way, as soon as either Einstein or Predictor come back up, I can complete the SETI but not get more. Saves having to do a reset and wasting downloaded work.
Well, the SETI team will get a boost for a couple of days. Predictor team says more work tomorrow. I hope so.
Besides Welnic, you don't want to give up on a chance to knock me out of the top five do you? You're on your way to the #2 spot unless mikkyo boosts his production.

I'm attached to Predictor, Einstein, ClimatePrediction, and even Seti.
All my machines have work.

I've only got 1 CPU to contribute.... for now...(mwahahaha....)
But I'm running Predictor as primary and SETI as backup.
Not been getting any Predictor work units since yesterday, so hope that gets sorted out soon.

I hope they fix it soon! Raven is moving up on me in F@H, just like I knew he would sooner or later!@!@!
If we could just fix the firewall at work so that I could add a few of my boxen here to the mix, not likely though. Those guys in computer security have NO sense of humor.....

holy crap, thx!
Bye bye to that project. I'm sure the tape drive loves me taking up 10% of it's capacity for that.

I will wait for the F@H Beta for boinc to start moving over.
I still have not matched your production let alone start moving up on you.
You are safe for a long time unless corneredbeast has something in the works.
Anyone know what the average PPD on a P4 3.2 540 (??)

That number will vary GREATLY depending upon which type of work unit you pull. I have a couple of similar cpus crunching and they get from between 100 and 300 points per day. I have not done a long term average, but I do use the excellent F@HStats program to monitor my local boxes. It also give you an average per day and per week on all of your monitored clients.
