Just wondering what sort of eyewear everyone here sports.

I'm thinking about getting these. I'm a Bolle fan. I've had the same pair for 3-4 years now and I'm thinking about mixing it up. I'm a little skeptical of the turquoise inside the frames. I'm considering getting solid black. But yeah, I like these . . .

So what do you wear?
2.3 GHz Intel i5 MacBook Pro
iPhone 4 - 16 GB - Black

I learned early last year that my face is too small for sunglasses. Still, I switch between three pairs of not-so-shady glasses depending on my mood and what I'm wearing, and this thread gives me an excuse to post pictures of them.

D&G model 5011 in gunmetal gray.

D&G model 5012 in blue chrome.
It doesn't show up well, but that's a subtle cool blue. A lot of people initially think that this pair is gray.

DKNY model 4515
This pair is starting to look dated. I'm replacing it with a less curvy thick black plastic frame when I get a new prescription.

Like paul w I can't hold on to a pair for very long. I usually buy whatever $10 can get me...right now it's a generic pair of Aviators.

If I had to guess what that shot would look like you sure as hell didn't disappoint.

Why no stripper or cigar in the frame though?

I collect sunglasses like women collect shoes. But since I tend to lose them (or break them [Not that I can recall either happening in the past 5 years...]), I go el cheapo route. I always enjoy perusing the sunglasses hut cart if I spot one at a mall.

As such, I have no pictorial evidence I can provide you folks as to my taste.

Here's the best picture I can find of mine, it's from a couple years ago. Wal-Mart women's sunglasses: $13. I also have a pair of aviators my mom wore in the 80s...those are pretty sweet. Excuse the awkward pose.

A vintage black pair of Ray-Ban Baloramas:

A modern pair of tortoise-shell Original Ray-Ban Wayfarers and a pair of modern silver Ray-Bans with polarizing lenses (can't recall the model number).
I am stupidest when I try to be funny.

I was picturing something with the American Flag or at the very least pink Zebra stripes.

Oh and those painters caps with the two tails on the back so you don't make your red-neck any redder.

I used to wear Oakley and Spyoptics but after I lost/broke a few pairs of $100+ sunglasses, I stopped spending money on them. Now it's Wal-Mart glasses.

I used to wear crappy glasses all the time, and I broke and/or lost them constantly. Once I got a pair of very nice Oakleys 5 years ago, though, that changed.

Go for the Bolle. They're unbreakable.

I currently have the "Meanstreak" series:

Except with dark reflective lenses (kinda green/blue, like an oilspill). They're extremely heavily tinted which I like, as my eyes are pretty photophobic. I'd buy another pair exactly the same if I could, but I don't think they make them anymore.

I've crushed them so badly on multiple occasions, and simply bent the frame back into shape with a leatherman - the lenses are still flawless, and they get treated pretty harshly (not by me, but by my work - being out in the bush for 8 hrs a day tears most things to shreds).

Based on your posting choices, I can say with reasonable confidence that the opposite is true, as well, for most of the rest of the posters in this thread.
