Well, we haven't done it in a while, so What project are you running, and (if you want to) what computers? What new toys do you hope to have soon?

I'm running mostly Predictor with either 5% SETI or 10% Einstein as a backup, depending on machine. With SETI down as much as it is though, Predictor is getting about 98% overall.

iBook G3 600 (Tiger)
iMac G5 1600 (Tiger)
P4 3400 (with HT)
P4 3000 (with HT)
2 - AMD 64 3200+
Athlon 2800
Athlon 2400

Probably have access to a Pentium 840 (dual-core 3200) sometime in July. (Not the EE version.) Still hoping to buy a dual PowerMac one of these days, when other priorities don't get in the way.

Currently running an iBook G4 1GHz (April 2004) model. What with the Macintel thing that's emerging, I would like to get a PowerMac G5 tower after they (the PPCs) get put out to pasture. Makes the price nice. I think today's PowerMac is still going to be viable several years down the road. Macintel is just going to make Macs "obsolete" faster, IMHO. Oh yeah, running Seti exclusively. Tried running Yellow Dog Linux for part of the weekend, but the port of Seti for YDL is so slow it was useless. Also, the hardware support is pretty poor for iBook G4s with YDL....

Well, my farm has only one cow in the pasture for now.

AMD Athlon 1700 - 100% on Predictor.

I get an average of about 120 credits per day.

I should be adding a 1.42 Mini into the fray in a couple of months, finances permitting.

edit: just checked the BIONICstats.com page and found my average daily credits.

Well just found out today that the Pentium D 840 (Dual Core 3.2 ghz for 6.4ghz total) I was hoping to have access to in mid July or so, I will actually get access to on Monday. Good timing, because it looks like my company is shipping me out of country on a business trip for a week or two. I'll also have a new UPS by then and can hopefully keep my farm up and running while gone. Of course, keeping it cool enough, might be a another problem.

Not sure, but based upon my P4 3.0ghz with HT off, I'm guessing the D840 ought to be good for an additional 500-550 cobblestones per day on BOINC. That ought to keep me out of trouble for a little while.

I've been part of TeamMacNN for quite a while (SETI Classic), Now running SETI Boinc. This is my first post...

My computers, all running OS 10.3.9 and Boinc Menubar 4.37 (v3).

iMac 450Mhz, Garage computer, SETI 24/7 and iTunes when I'm in the garage working on my '56 F100. This machine may be sacrificed to be used as a onboard computer for the '56.

PowerMac 450Mhz, upgraded to 1.4Mhz and Graphics card, Web and Streetrod business computer, SETI 24/7.

Dual 800Mhz, Graphics business computer, SETI 24/7 (unless InDesign and Photoshop work is being done)

Powerbook G3 500, on the road machine, SETI most of the time. When running SETI it has a tendency to kick the fan on. Makes me nervious to put that much heat on the cpu. My latest fix for this is have the laptop sitting on a thick glass (1 1/2 inch) dish. This seems to keep it cool enough so the fan doesn't have to run. It's been running 24/7 for 4 days without the fan coming on.

Speaking of SETI Boinc... when will TeamMacNN getting the stats up and running. I currently use http://www.boincsynergy.com/

Work Machine is PowerBook 1GHz running CPDN 67%, SETI 33% CLI, OS X 10.3.9
Home iBook 1.33 GHz SETI 100% BOINC MenuBar, OS X 10.3.9
Home iMac 333 MHz SETI 100% BOINC MenuBar, OS X 10.3.9

I keep them all on 24/7, unless there's a thunderstorm in the area, as happens a lot fhere in VA in the summer. My "farm" is not all that fast, but I figure every little bit helps - I'm hanging in there at position #61 on the team with over 30K credits.

I'd love to see a shot of that 56 F100. Got any posted anywhere?

reader50 will get to the stats when he can. He is one busy fellow right now in the real world. Be sure to post your preference for the next BOINC stats project in the poll thread.

Sweet. All I've got is a bunch of computers and a Honda Civic. But it is a nice Honda Civic. Thanks for sharing. I love classics, and that is gonna be one sweet one when it is done.

I have a [pedal] bike and a pair of legs. And some computers. Well, technically all I own is a laptop, but I hope you won't count that against me. I may lose my secondary farm (the primary having been retired a year ago when I moved) as I quit, so if a new person comes in and starts formatting (dunno why they would) or removing the clients, well...
I've got a 2 or 3 day layover here in August on my way wayyyyyyyyyyyy west, so I shall possibly add something more.
Back home I go tomorrow, yay.
