I know my master fire vault password, i forgot my other basic password, how do i reset the password i dont know?
someone please let me know, this is quite frustrating

Boot from your System CD, depending on what version OS, choose Utilities from the Menu Bar, reset password. Just don't forget your FileVault password!

what do u mean boot from my system cd? , where do i find utilities?
i have a new macbook pro 2.4 intel core duo

You need to boot off your install cd, by placing it in the drive. Reboot the computer, and hold the C key down. After you get beyond the license agreement stuff you can access the reset password option in the menu.
