Do you realize how little sense it makes what you were saying ?

Why the heck would people think that there is NO difference between a post with a yellow dot and a post WITHOUT a yellow dot, but completely get the concept with a grey and yellow dots ?

This was stubborn about being fixed; I'd noticed it too. The dot & text are already bottom-aligned, but the dot had a 1px drop shadow, which bumped it up slightly.

I shrank the dot another pixel, which seems to have done the trick.

Excellent. Still needs to come down one pixel to be centered though.

erik, could you flush your image cache? I checked in 4 browsers, and it looks right.

Alternatively, could you post a shot and the browser / OS you are using?

I think you're using the sans serif small text option. Which isn't browser specific.

Small - the dot is aligned on the bottom, and 1px too high on top.
Default - dot aligns top and bottom.
Large - dot aligns on the bottom, but is 1px too short on top.

I'd have to use 3 dot sizes, and tie them into the text size choice to fix it. Maybe effgee could do that, but it is a bit beyond my javascript skills.

Alternatively, maybe I could play with the div tags, put the dot into its own tags to center it and adjust the two tag style settings so things look right. This is also risky, my php skills are way better than those in the html/css department. I think I'm going to leave this one.
