I've gotten a couple of "Your iPhone contains diagnostic information which may help apple...." prompt when I connect to itunes. I connect to iTunes only a couple of times a weeks so it does seem to prompt me often enough.

I did a show details and I see these messages quite often
IncidentIdentifier=F2B99F9F-4EC6-4B2A-BE87-52A6D8F68FEF
Date=2008-12-16;AP=5G77;BB=02.28.00;Model=N82AP;Machine=iPhone1 ,2

I'm not sure if this is indicative of a defective phone (I've only owned it since monday) or just a buggy app I downloaded?

Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Do I need to worry about this or send the unit in for repair?

It's just the crash reporter telling you that if you agree, it will send the crash reports to Apple for possible use in a software update. If you check the box to never show again, the information will always be sent without prompting you. Nothing to worry about.

ok, cool.

While I have not noticed any aberrant behavior with the iPhone, I was a little concerned that something could be defective.

Thanks
Mike
