I have a friend, no really, that mentioned to me that she has an old performa and she wants to get on the web with it. I told her I would look into it. She could tell me exactly what model it was but said it was on to those all in one deals. I figured the first thing to find out is weather it is a PPC or a 68000. So my first questions is were there both PPC and 68xxx one unit machines. She said she dropped in a AOL CD and it told her her machine was too old. I would appericaite any thing you might have.

if the AOL CD says it is too old, it is a 68k Mac... you can get that Mac on the web but it requires older browser like Netscape 3.01 will maybe work... ancient history...

and the thing is so slow (performa) that once on the 'net it would be an exercise in frustration as far as I care... I mean I can ride my bike across the country but I'd rather buy a plane ticket... still, it can be done.
