Instead of just moving across the page it's highlighting everything, getting stuck to links and carrying them around instead of clicking it.

I can barely use my wacom tablet.

Last time I had this problem I rebuilt the directory using Diskwarrior, and that fixed it.

This time this improved things, but didn't cure it.

What else can I do to get my Wacom back to functioning?

You didn't happen to just install the Magic Trackpad update did you? What computer/operating system/Wacom drivers are you using? I wouldn't expect Diskwarrior to fix this sort of a problem.

After trying to do it the fickle way and check all my software I went the high road in search of a solution.

I pecked several times against my tablet, whispering tender words, and it worked.

As it seems, the little, white core was sticking, and my mechanical solution unstuck it.
