Question: I do not have AT&T wifi or landline service (anymore). However, many of my friend's (and my child's babysitters) do. If you look at the AT&T coverage map for my home, I literally live in an AT&T "hole." When people with AT&T come to my house, they have little or no signal, which would be really bad if the babysitter cannot call us if there was an emergency. I do not live in an unpopulated area, so I'm not sure why AT&T's coverage is so crappy here.

Is there any way I can get an AT&T microcell and use it even though I am not an AT&T customer? Even if there is a monthly rate, it might be worth it if it was low enough.

Googling finds lots of AT&T subscribers wanting the microcell, but I can't find anything for a non-subscriber.

Suggestions? Thoughts?

Steve
