Is Aspyr still working on this update? Is it mentioned in the latest newsletter at all? I'm dying to get some good MP in, but the servers are dwindling...

They have an FAQ on their site that they're working on it... actually the patch will be 1.41 which is what the PC is currently at.
I sent them an email a week or two ago and they say it's waiting approvals. As Guy Incognito would say, blame ID and Activision... approvals shouldn't take this long.

To give you any hope  , we have had to wait longer for rtcw patches from aspyr then the time we had them... Not to mention the demo was there for almost a year untill they approved it.

I've sent my first e-mail to Aspyr the day 1.4 came out for PC, and then they were already working on it. The port was finished in a week or two, and since then all they've been doing @ Aspyr is sitting and waiting for the right approvals.
Good news is: It's ready, it's 1.41 and it'll come out this week or next week.
The waiting is finally over 
Although i better start cheering the moment it's actually installed

No no, Aspyr is just readying a mob to go to id headquarters and it will take a week or 2 to get organized, Aspyr is sick of the emails
