The US and UK governments have decided that funding faith-based schools and charities is a good idea but taxpayers don't get to decide which faiths are recieving the money or if all faiths recieve equal funding.

The results of such funding are obvious and corrupt. It gives money to superstitions which breed more ignorance and intolerance. One fine example is this Christian charity recieving funding from Bush which calls Jewish converts to Christianity 'completed Jews':
