Question: If I colour my tooth w/ permanent marker to look like a Pirate, how do I get it off?

Reason: Have been invited to a house-warming party tonight. With a Pirate theme. Great notice it is, 10 hours, but that's okay. I have gone out and bought a hat, eye patch, sword, hook...and beer.

Will paint on goatee and moustache, since there isn't enough time to grow one now. However I am worried if I colour my tooth black with a permanent marker (to look like I am missing one), how and when can I get it off? Will I be stuck with a black tooth for days? Weeks? Months? Years??

PS: If smoeone tells me it will come off easily in the morning, and it doesn't, I will personally blame them.

why not use black electrical tape? im sure you can find special paint at a part store

Holding someone accountable for a suggestion that doesn't work is not a great way to get replies!

That said, I doubt many permanent markers are nontoxic, check that first. Most wash off with acetone, but I can't suggest putting that in your mouth.

Draw over it with dry erase marker, then remove. Well, at least that works on dry erase boards..........

We had a party every year where'd we draw all over chicks in bikinis with permanent marker and vice versa. Granted we'd spend most of the rest of the day in the lake and drunk but by the next morning most people had 80% of the marker washed off. Black will take the longest to go away and the face will be a particularly sensitive place that can't be scrubbed too hard so it will take even longer. I'd say 4 days max to get it off. Why not just use women's makeup? Cheap, easily purchased, and gone by morning.
I don't think that the marker will be an issue since it won't stick to your tooth anyway because of the enamel.

You could always knock out your tooth for real and place it in milk... and then rush to the dentist after the party.

Use marker, then sandpaper in the morning. A 300-grade should do.
