App development has taken off in the last few years, making it increasingly difficult to stay on top of all the latest versions. To help all of you out, we here at MacNN are dedicated to sorting through new update releases, and highlighting some of the important ones, as well as showcasing apps that we find to be interesting. Today, we bring you a 50 percent discount on screen annotation software Ink2Go, as well as highlight updates to data recovery software Disk Drill, financial manger Quicker 2015, SDLMAME front-end Erockus Arcade, text manipulation tool TextWrangler, file sync utility SyncTwoFolders, and duplicate file finder Tidy Up.

Disk Drill is a data recovery tool that can help users prevent unexpected data loss. The software includes support for recovering information from HFS/HFS+, FAT, NTFS and other file systems and formatted drives. In v2.4.435 the HFS+ Catalog Rebuild feature is now available for more cases of accidental data loss, and the launch speed on OS X 10.11 has been improved.

Quicken 2015 v2.8
Quicken 2015 can help users manage all of their personal finances in a single location. An issue where downloading transactions are not matching, causing duplicates has been addressed with this update, along with a bug where the "Last Downloaded" filter doesn't display Quicken Connect transactions.

Erockus Arcade v2.1.1
Free
Erockus Arcade has been designed as a front-end for the SDLMAME emulator. In v2.1.1 backdrops have been removed from the download to reduce file size, as a result of the server host changing file size limits.

TextWrangler v5.0.1
Free
TextWrangler is a text manipulation tool, which can be used to edit general text documents and developers code. The latest release has rearranged the font options in the Printing preferences to make them a little clearer, and also now includes the results windows and disk browsers when using the Arrange commands on the Window menu.

SyncTwoFolders v2.1.5
Free
SyncTwoFolders is a simple tool that can be used to keep two folders synchronized. The software supports syncing across mounted network drives and is able to run a simulation that will provided users with a detailed report of exactly what will happen if they enable syncing. The v2.1.5 update corrects a bug that occurred when using the "&" symbol in a setting name. Bypass of Gatekeeper required for installation, but MacNN testing hasn't shown any data leakage.

Tidy Up v4.1.7

Tidy Up enables users to search for duplicate files and packages while utilizing various filters. Two search modes, Basic Mode and Strategy Wizard, are included in the software, giving users the ability to perform quick searches or drill down to exactly what they are looking for. A Chinese localization is included in this update, along with fixes for a number of minor bugs.

...be reminded Intuit 'sunsets' software frequently in EULA... Options like Moneyworks raise the question of historical import function remaining valid beyond simply licensing limitations...
