I just purchased an iBook and want to play StarCraft, the only problem is since I am always on the go I would like to not have to always carry my cd to SarCraft around with me. I figure I could get an image of the cd into a dmg file and mount it to play, but whenever I attempt to backup the cd via the disc utility that comes with Tiger, I get an error. I have also attempted to do a basic dd dump from the comand line. I am at a loss, if anyone has a good way for me to get an image to play my game I would certinly appreciate it.

Thanks

put the cd in and open Toast. Choose creat disk image. This will save a .toast file to your hd. Now in taost choose "mount disk image" and choose the file you just created. the disk image will be mounted as long as you dont logout or restart.
