I can’t help feeling I’ve let British women off lightly. It’s not just the Americans you don’t compare to: British women don’t have the curves of the Italians, the simmering sexuality of the Spanish, the sophistication of the French or the openness of the Scandinavians.

So what do British women have? Top spot in the European obesity table. Top spot in the European teen pregnancy table. And the only spots (besides Denmark) in the chart showing rising alcohol consumption among women in western Europe.

i digress though, every country has good and bad looking women. since i'm not interested in black women so much, african countries probably have the least attractive women because they are the least attractive to my personal tastes.

lol. growing up in a pretty caucasian town I didn't think I was into black women either... until I met a HOT one. Seriously - there are hot women in every corner of the planet, I'm fairly certain.

Moving to japan has showed me once and for all that I have no attraction to Japanese women.

Also, Japanese women not so great as everyone makes them out to be. They dress horribly, wear the worst boots that cause massive posture and walking issues, wear way too much makeup, and would probably be mistaken for hookers in any western country.

Sure, there are some nice ones every now and then, but they are few and far between.

I have tons of Japanese friends, and know some extremely attractive Japanese women, but from my time in Japan and from spending time in various Japanese communities I'd say they're far, far above the curve.

The old "Scandinavian Night Club versus Footballers' Pub" comparison is still specious. I live in one of the fattest cities in the U.S., and going to any public place generally is a positive, ego-enhancing experience. But I see gorgeous women every day. I've been to clubs that were overflowing with gorgeousness, and clubs that were heavy on the "if you ain't fer them Longhorns, you ain't welcome here" crowd. Not only in the same town but only blocks apart.

Personally, I like women. Healthy women with good attitudes to be specific. Healthy women look good, and good attitudes make them feel good, so with those together, they are great to look at and to spend time with. I don't care what their accent is (I had a class a while back with a young lady from somewhere in the Francophone part of Africa-lovely accent), or where they came from, as long as the two criteria above are met.

Wow. I live in Asia, and think oppositely.

Most Western woman I have met are hairy, frumpy, big-boned, loutish, generally over-weight, have the jaw-lines of lumberjacks, and dress like unmade beds.

Asian woman, on the other hand, are petite, virtually hairless, take better care of personal grooming, and are more ideally feminine, both in appearance and in their general deportment... IMO.

It varies massively from country to country. In China I'd agree with you. In Japan, not so much. Obviously there's a range in both countries, but my experience is that the average Chinese woman is more in line with what you're saying while the average Japanese woman is not (well they're still usually petite and non-hairy, although the more Ainu blood they have the more hair they're likely to have).

I've spent extensive amounts of time in China and Japan, and I have to agree with Tiresias for the most part.
The main thing I'm drawn to is the feminine aspect - onnarashii.
A pet theory of mine is that Western women want to be men - they too want to wear the pants in the family, whilst Asian women celebrate their femininity and allow men to be men without emasculating them. That's the b&w of it, there are greys of course...
