Power mac G5 Software for iMac G5????

I have an iMac G5 and i borrowed software for a new Power Mac G5 so i can get Tiger.. Th software says it will not work for my computer??? Is there any way i can get the tiger update off the Power Mac software 10.4?

I'm not going to buy.. i will get it from someone eles or limewire if this dose not work

You can't. The software that comes with each machine is KEYED to that machine.
It KNOWS that it is supposed to be installed on a G5 tower and KNOWS you have
attempted to install it on a machine it was not intended for.
The only way you can install Tiger on that machine is if you buy a copy of Tiger at a
store or STEAL IT SHAMELESSLY, DEPRIVING DEVELOPERS OF THEIR HARD EARNED
SHECKELS and causing their WIVES AND CHILDREN to go HUNGRY and SHIVER IN
the COLD while you laugh using the fruits of their labor.
If you bought the machine recently you can do a trade-up (it's at the Apple site) and
get Tiger reasonably cheaply. But if you bought a used machine and it had Panther
on it but not Tiger you'll have to pay the freight. OR STEAL and feel the COLD AND
BRUTAL HARSHNESS of ETHICALLY BAD BEHAVIOR OOZING INTO YOUR BODY.
(okay, it's over the top but someone had to say it).

I suggest you read the terms and conditions and faq for this message board.....as you should do before posting. if you did that you would know that asking for help with pirating software is against the rules.

I'm an old pirate BUT I always buy the OS's from Apple (even though I may test them first) - I do believe in supporting Apple! I bought JAG, Panther and Tiger too - I got Tiger free with my new G5 Imac but still have a RETAIL Version bought the day it went on sale @ the Apple store... I have Retail OS 8 - OS 9 too. Support Apple or they may go the way of the Amiga and the Atari ST - I owned both and were sad to see them go...
I also bought Ilife 05 even though you can find it on the "net"...
