I was looking through some items being shown at the CES and found this:
Huge display? Check. Huge Wacom tablet Abilities? Check. Combine them both and make it on our want list? Check.
notice the leoparddock on the bottom? all apple has to do is make this into a computer somehow

Looks like a big touch screen/ink compatible monitor hooked up to a Mac. What's the big deal?

Mac + Big ass Wacom Cintiq tablet = Big ass touch screen Mac (with a pen). The only new thing there is the size of the big ass tablet screen.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

The other new thing is probably the price$$$$$$$. We're a ways from that being generally consumer-affordable, I think.

I played with the smaller version of that at Tekserve last weekend.
You plug in the Wacom to your Mac and it is detected as a secondary monitor. You can then drag photoshop or other documents to it and work on it with both monitors.

It's really neat, but the small one is $999, so I can't imagine that this large one, or one big enough for an iMac, would be cheap.

I got to play with one of the smaller ones at a conference last year. Very slick.
