A while back someone posted something about a good open source blogger of some sort. Can't for the life of me recall what it was though, anyone know?
If anyone wants to suggest a good blogger that you like go ahead.

WordPress is open source. I personally don't particularly care for it, but others love it.
Movable Type is the most popular CMS for blogs. Support is excellent and there is little it can't do. I use my install as a fully fledged CMS for my entire site, not just for blogging purposes. The basic install is free, if you want multiple authors you are supposed to pay a licensing fee.
