Is there anyway to reformat a pdf to display pages squatter. Like create new page breaks that make them stop being so long per page. It sucks reading them and scrolling to get text in weird places.

Peepcode pdfs are a perfect example of a good format

If you're asking whether or not you can crop a PDF page, yes you can. You can do it with Preview. However, you won't save any file space doing it because PDF cropping is non-destructive.

I think he wants to reflow the text so that pages are shorter but there are more pages (e.g., turn a magazine-size page into a novel-size page). I don't know of any software that can reliably do this, since PDF doesn't really contain a concept of "flow." But I'm not really a PDF guru.

I like the way PDFView displays pdf files. It makes them much larger so that it is easy to read them without having to use a magnifying glass.
