I know its a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if there was anyone here, my age (ie year 11/12) who just got their GCSE results. I thought it'd be nice to share what you got....

Anyway, I got;

A's in Geography, Drama, English & Design & Technology (resistant materials)

B's in German & Maths

C's in Science (double award), English Lit, Economics.

This thread could turn into a non-starter, but just thought it'd be cool...

Congrats on your results.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

yeah we have a few labs full of iMac G5s. They're not strictly for CompSci users, but no one else uses them - so i use them all the time

I got my gymnasial Studentereksamen, which I gather is the closest equivalent we have to GCSEs or O-levels, just over five years ago, with an average of 11.2.

Of course that doesn’t tell you anything, since the Danish grading system is completely unique and not in use anywhere else; but I did.

Lol, that was a nasty exam, almost everyone came out of it saying "I missed every question 2 because they were too hard" etc"

Nope, but apparently Wikipedia would.

I see we’re changing the grading system as of... well, as of a few weeks ago, I suppose, when the school year started for elementary and secondary schools. Spooky. I think universities are sticking to the old one for now. Thank heavens.

Wow awesome! Sounds like most of my friends at school... most got high numbers of A*s... I went to a grammar school, and it was full of very clever people!

On a side note, I got my picture in the 'Times' paper on the phone to my mum telling her my results
