I love OpenEMU (the multi system console emulator). It works really well. So I thought i'd be smart and move the program's application support folder to a shared folder. That way, I could have all the same games and save states available on all of my machines. Kind of the way all modern 'cloud' based junk works. Well it didn't work. So I restored it to the previous state, but it's still not working. I tried completely uninstalling, then reinstalling. But it's STILL not working. Games are unable to save their state, and they give me an error about it every time I open it.
I was on their IRC support channel and they suggested that there are some invisible files outside of the application support folder that have hardcoded paths in them. That's about as specific as the help got, it is IRC after all. Any ideas?
