hello!

i am using virex 7.5 and i checked (under preferences) "scan contents of the mailboxes."
the following message pops up sporadically. when i click "clean" the following message appeared:

"2004-08-30 11:30:28 -0400
/Users/xxxxx/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/[email protected] | received mail.mbox/mbox/01fe76b5.EML
Infected with virus Exploit-MIME.gen.exe."

when i click "clean" the following message appeared:

"/Users/xxxxx/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/[email protected] | received mail.mbox/mbox/01fe76b5.EML
Not repaired: can't open file for write."

even when i click "move to trash," (i don't see that message in trash), "ignore," the above message sporadically appears. how do it find that specific mail attachment, as i can't trash all my received mail? thank you for your help in a advance. have a great day!

I cannot help you out there but i will say it did find soem windows viruses lurking in my mailbox that i didn;t realize were there.

7.5 has been pulled due to problems with it. You may seriously want to uninstall and go back to the previous version.
