iPod Nano : Average 11MB/Sec Write Speeds

Writing a 2GB file to the iPod Nano averaged on my USB2 bus. Pretty good for flash actually.

write: 11.5 MB/sec
read 7.9 MB/sec

You can test this by download a utility called MBBench

This is good considering my 250gb western digital maxed out at 14MB/sec write

I think my mini gets about 8 mb/s.

I feel like your WD should get better speeds.
AT&T iPhone 5S and 6; 13" MBP; MDD G4.

So over USB 1 how long does it take to fill the 4 giger?

Is that a guess? I could have sworn that my 1 gig shuffle takes about 40 min to fill over USB 1.
