It appears that you can now call up att and disable the EDGE network on your phone. Saving you $20 a month. Great way if you still want to use the phone but always are around wifi.

Note- you will loose the voicemail feature but I believe the trick used to get the unlocked phones voicemail working still works.

Why? Edge works fine for my usage and I'm not always around unlocked WiFi. I think you might actually be doing AT&T a favor by dropping the unlimited Edge data.

Hell, I encourage people to do it. Less people on EDGE network cloggin' up the tubes!
